It is obvious that the sentiments against Anna Hakobyan are guided, perhaps from no single point: political scientist
The political scientist Armen Agayan wrote on his Facebook page: “Some believe that one of the reasons for the collapse of the Soviet Union was that people did not forgive Raisa Gorbacheva's activity. They were not used to her accompanying her husband, and she had a noticeably presentable appearance compared to their miserable living conditions, perhaps making them envious. All of this accumulated and transferred in the form of hatred towards her unusually talkative husband. There were even doubts that the woman was actually leading him in the matter of dismantling the country.
The noise around Anna Hakobyan's visits I personally consider utterly unfounded, but Raisa Maximovna was not to blame either. It is obvious that the sentiments against Anna are somewhat guided, perhaps from no single point. But this does not happen for no reason. The community is powerful, and ours is no less powerful than the Soviet one. The guides certainly expect certain effectiveness from what they have done. Anna, with her responses, sometimes exacerbates the issue.
Such artificial problems overshadow and divert from the substantive evaluations and content critiques of Nikol's government.
