A large-scale power outage in Caracas has resulted in the closure of state institutions, banks, and numerous shops. Phone communication is nearly non-functional, and many apartments are without water.

According to НТВ news, the Venezuelan government has declared a holiday due to the disconnection caused by these circumstances.

Residents of Caracas stated that on Friday morning, people took to the streets to protest against the government's actions regarding the electricity shutdown. Some protesters brought pots with them and were banging on them with spoons in an attempt to draw attention.
