Dismissing Our Greats Is Against Our National Values: Sirusho

Sirusho, the singer, posted on her Facebook page:

“The contribution of Arthur Grigoryan and the state Song Theatre he founded is immensely significant in Armenian quality music. He has worked day and night, shaping generations, developing musical taste and quality, and has become a home for many currently beloved performers.

To this day, it remains one of the few high-quality musical institutions that provides proper education.

I have never been a student of the Song Theatre, but I deeply appreciate the enormous work that has been done and bow before the talent and dedication of Arthur Grigoryan. Dismissing our greats is against our national values.”
