Silva Hambardzumyan to be summoned to court

Businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan will be summoned to court to participate in the hearing of the complaint filed by the defense of former Minister of Environment Aram Harutyunyan against the reopening of his case on charges of receiving particularly large bribes. The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, under Judge Vardan Grigoryan, today, on February 27, made a decision to notify Hambardzumyan again regarding the date and time of the court session, reports News.am.

It should be noted that Harutyunyan's lawyers believe that the reopening of the case concerning Harutyunyan and the other three defendants was done in violation of the law. The defense is asking the court to obligate the prosecuting authority to annul the decision to reopen the criminal case.

Recall that on January 18, Judge Vardan Grigoryan of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction accepted the NSS's request and made a decision to impose arrest on Aram Harutyunyan.
