Nikol Pashinyan to Visit Iran
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will embark on a two-day official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 27, accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan.
According to information provided to Armenpress by the press office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, a meeting is scheduled between Nikol Pashinyan and the spiritual leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran, after which the leaders of the two countries will make statements summarizing the results of the negotiations for representatives of the media. In honor of the Armenian Prime Minister, a formal lunch will be hosted by the Iranian President. Following that, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Ali Larijani.
On the evening of February 27, the Prime Minister will visit the "Ararat" cultural and sports center in Tehran and meet with representatives of the Armenian community in Tehran.
On February 28, the head of the Armenian government will travel to Isfahan, where he will meet with the governor and representatives of the Armenian community.
