EU May Allocate $700 Million to Armenia: Svyatlski

The European Union may provide Armenia with $700 million. This was stated today during a press briefing by the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Svyatlski.

He noted that the EU plans to allocate over $13 billion for various countries to construct roads, railways, transit routes, and ports.

“In this context, Armenia may receive $700 million,” the ambassador said, adding that discussions are currently underway with Armenian partners. “We hope there will be new proposals and projects from your side. This is not a closed book; it needs to be discussed,” Svyatlski said.

According to the ambassador, $10 million is allocated for modernizing Armenia’s southern border crossing points.
