Tragic Incident in Yerevan: 9-Year-Old Child Found Dead at Home

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a tragic incident occurred today in Yerevan. At around 3:10 PM, the police received a call from the "St. Astvatsamayr" medical center reporting that a group of emergency medical workers from Yerevan had transported a deceased child to their facility.

Photographer Gagik Shamshyan reports that police officials, led by the head of the Shengavit division, Hrach Khoshteghyan, have arrived at the hospital.

Investigators from the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan city division have also arrived at the scene.

Authorities have determined that the child transported to the hospital was 9-year-old Haik E., a resident of one of the buildings on Araratyan Street in Yerevan. His brother found him lifeless in their home.

According to preliminary information from the photographer, the child had been playing on a bunk bed when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Investigative materials are being prepared regarding the case. A series of examinations have been ordered by the investigator, including a forensic examination of the body.
