This Does Not Mean 'I Have Abandoned' My Father: Tigran Mazmanyan on His Father's Hunger Strike
Political activist Tigran Mazmanyan stated on his Facebook page: "I have informed my father not to contact me regarding his hunger strike, but this does not mean 'I have abandoned' my father.
Perhaps I am one of the lucky ones whose parents are boundlessly patriotic, dedicated, and have taken up arms for the homeland at critical moments, ideological front-runners.
Do not try to take this issue into the political arena and start a Facebook trial. I believe that the authorities will resolve the matter within the framework of legality. I was close to my father, we discussed various topics, and I assured him that his health is good and wished him success."
It is worth mentioning that in support of the hunger strike declared by filmmaker Hovhannes Galstyan, veteran and war invalid Mher Mazmanyan has also declared a hunger strike.
