Inmate Escapes from Nubarashen Penitentiary

On February 18, around 15:30, Haik Vache Galstyan, a convict at the Nubarashen penitentiary and born in 1974, escaped from a hospital room at the Armenia Medical Center where he was being treated.

Galstyan is currently charged under Article 333, Part 2, Item 1 of the RA Criminal Code.

Those who see him or have information about his whereabouts are asked to call 010 44 29 04 or 1-02, or to contact the nearest police station.

The confidentiality of the person providing information is guaranteed.

Additionally, in response to a query from Tert.am, the Public Relations Department of the Penitentiary Service stated that the prison guards were overseeing the inmate at the medical center.
