Allegation is False: Serzh Sargsyan Did Not Testify Against Robert Kocharyan
The rumors circulating that Serzh Sargsyan has testified against Robert Kocharyan are entirely fictitious and unfounded, stated Serzh Sargsyan's attorney Amram Makinyan in an interview with 168.am.
“Serzh Sargsyan was summoned by the Special Investigative Service of Armenia and was interrogated within the framework of the March 1 case. I regret that, due to the confidentiality of the pre-trial investigation, I cannot present or comment on the full extent of Sargsyan's testimonies. I am aware of the rumors circulating in the press, which claim that Mr. Serzh Sargsyan testified against Mr. Robert Kocharyan. I can definitely say that these are entirely fictitious and unfounded,” Makinyan stated.
