Director to Announce Water Strike Tomorrow Demanding Part of MPs' Salaries

Film director, producer, and head of "Parallels Film Production" Hovhannes Galstyan will begin a water strike on February 7 at 1:00 PM in the National Assembly park. He had previously started a hunger strike on February 3.

According to Factor.am, at the start of the water strike, Hovhannes Galstyan will demand that the 132 members of the 7th convocation of the National Assembly allocate part of their salaries for the completion of a film.

It is worth reminding that Galstyan's demand is to return the funds taken under the instruction of the Minister of Culture in 2017 from the film project "My Grandma's Curls" and to start discussions on an effective, transparent, and progressive model for state management of cinema proposed by film producers.
