12 People Die from Influenza in Greece in One Week
During the week from January 21 to 27, 12 people died from influenza in Greece, while two fatalities were reported the week before.
According to Ria Novosti, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country, the deceased were individuals of various ages, ranging from 25 to 90 years old, and belonged to high-risk clinical groups for whom the Health Ministry recommends seasonal flu vaccination.
All cases were registered as influenza type A, specifically A(H1N1) and A(H3N2).
