Government to Partially Subsidize Drinking Water Tariffs

The government has approved a decision regarding the "Mitigation Measures for Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Services Provided by Veolia Water LLC." To ease tariffs for subscribers, the government will provide subsidies to the company.

Specifically, the company will receive a subsidy of 11.4 drams (including VAT) per cubic meter from the total rate of 191.414 drams (including VAT). This includes a subsidy of 9.702 drams (including VAT) from the water supply service rate of 162.702 drams (including VAT), and 1.712 drams (including VAT) from the wastewater service rate of 28.712 drams (including VAT).
