Which Roads Are Impassable and Closed: Ministry of Emergency Situations
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that there are impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed.
The Sotk-Kарчаж highway is impassable.
In the regions of Aragatsotn, the cities of Aparan and Talin, in the village of Aragats, and on the highways leading from Yerevan to Sevan, Vayk to Jermuk, Sotk to Karvachar, Saravan to "Zanger," Sisian to "Zanger," and from the Sevan peninsula to the Dilijan tunnel, there are instances of black ice present.
In the city of Sevan, Gegharkunik region, there are snow precipitation.
Drivers are advised to travel in the regions exclusively with winter tires.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open only for passenger vehicles.
According to information received from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of North Ossetia, there are accumulated vehicles on the Russian side.
