Fallen Pilots of Military Aircraft to Be Buried in 'Yerablur'
On December 4, Lieutenant Colonel Armen Slavik Babayan, a first-class pilot, and Major Movses Gevorg Manukyan, a third-class pilot, who lost their lives in an aviation accident, will be buried at the 'Yerablur' military pantheon.
This information was shared by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
On December 4, around 10:20 AM, contact was lost with the SU-25 military aircraft of the Armenian Armed Forces, which was performing a training flight as part of the daily combat readiness plan. The aircraft had taken off from Shiraz Airport at 10:06 AM.
The crash site has been identified in the mountainous region of Maralik.
