Employees of the Flower Market Protest in Republic Square
Today, employees of the Flower Market have resumed their protest in Republic Square. Sources from Aurora Media report that the Prime Minister's assistant has listened to the complaints of the protesters. As we reported yesterday, the demand of the Flower Market employees is for the property owners to reduce the rent for the area.
Since the working hours are from 8:00 to 9:30, with an hour costing 2000 drams, they are requesting a decrease to 1000 drams. The property owners disagree, stating they even plan to raise the rate to 3000 drams, which led to this protest.
