Flower Market Owners Threaten to Raise Fees Due to Vendors' Protests
In our previous reports, we mentioned that starting from 8 AM, the employees of the Flower Market located near the V. Sargsyan Republican Stadium have begun a protest demand for a reduction in the area rent fee.
Participants in the protest state that their working hours are from 8 AM to 9:30 AM, with one hour costing 2000 AMD. They are demanding a reduction by 1000 AMD.
The owners of the space are in disagreement, indicating that they may even raise the fee to 3000 AMD due to this protest.
The protesters have asserted that they are not willing to continue under these circumstances and plan to relocate to an area adjacent to the Nairit factory, where they will operate until a resolution is reached.
Incidentally, they have been conducting their business on the sidewalks up to this point, having moved out of the stadium area, which has become a source of contention.
The owners have not allowed them to sell flowers on the sidewalks either.
