Defense Ministry Releases Photos of Fallen Pilots

The Ministry of Defense has published photos of the pilots of the crashed SU-25 aircraft.

The SU-25 combat aircraft of the Armed Forces of Armenia took off from Gyumri Airport on December 4 at 10:06 AM. Communication with the aircraft was lost around 10:20 AM. The Ministry of Defense reports that the aircraft was destroyed at that moment.

As a result of the aviation accident, the first-class pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Armen Slavik Babayan, and the third-class pilot, Major Movses Gevorg Manukyan, were killed.
