Criminal Authorities Warned to Stay Away from Electoral Processes

The officers of the Lori Regional Department of Police and its subordinate police stations have conducted another operation, named "It's Coming Flake by Flake, It's Going Drop by Drop." This was reported by SHAMSHYAN.com.

During the operation, more than 40 individuals were taken to police stations, some of whom are considered criminal authorities in the Lori region, while others have previously been convicted under various articles of the RA Criminal Code. Most were well-known nicknamed figures in Vanadzor, with the local population keeping track of them from election to election.

According to information from the photojournalist, these individuals were warned in police stations to refrain from "playing games" during the election campaign and electoral processes; otherwise, the offenders will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

As a result of yesterday's operation, some "authorities" have left not only Lori region but the territory of the Republic altogether.

Notice: A suspect in an alleged crime is considered innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedures established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
