Watch: Drugs and Weapons Found in Vardenis, 52-Year-Old Man Arrested

The officers of the Vardenis Community Police Department acted on operational information on August 4. At 12:45 PM, near the gas station in the village of Mets Masrik, law enforcement arrested a 52-year-old man from the village of Daranak on suspicion of illegal possession and use of narcotics. The suspicions of the police were also substantiated.

During the interrogation, the man admitted that the liquid in the dropper found during a search contained marijuana, and that he also had weapons and was growing cannabis at home. The man and the compiled documents were submitted to the Vardenis Investigative Department, where a criminal case was initiated.

On the same day, a search of the 52-year-old man's home in Daranak uncovered marijuana, cannabis seeds, two unregistered rifles, 124 rounds for a submachine gun, knives, and 21 cannabis bushes.

The investigation is ongoing.
