Members of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling youth team, Samvel Terteryan and Yurik Petrosyan, have started with victories at the U-20 World Championship taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Competing in the 77 kg weight category, Samvel Terteryan and Yurik Petrosyan in the 87 kg category have successfully passed the preliminary rounds and secured a spot in the semifinals. The Armenian wrestlers will continue their fight for medals at the world championship.
It is noteworthy that the U-20 Greco-Roman wrestling world championship is being held in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava.
