Armenia Tops List of Countries that Surprised Russian Tourists

Armenia, Georgia, and Belarus have emerged as the leading countries that pleasantly surprised Russian tourists, according to a report by Купибилет. These three countries received positive feedback from 33% of respondents, as reported by TASS.

In second place are domestic trips within Russia, which exceeded the expectations of 24% of respondents. The top three is rounded out by Asian countries (including China, Japan, Thailand, and South Korea) at 18%.

Conversely, the list of countries that disappointed Russian tourists is led by EU nations, which did not meet the expectations of 61% of respondents.
