Ukraine Takes Out 7 of Wildberries' 10 Largest Logistics Centers, Ministry Reports

Ukraine has taken out seven of the ten largest logistics centers of the Russian e-commerce platform Wildberries. This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

According to the Ministry, following a large-scale drone attack on the Moscow region on the night of August 16, the Wildberries logistics center located in the Koladino industrial park ceased operations. This center was the largest warehouse of the company, covering approximately 250,000 square meters.

After the night attack, the warehouse located in Domodedovo also ceased operations. Earlier reports indicated that a large fire broke out at a major Wildberries warehouse in Podolsk after a drone strike. Russian authorities have confirmed the fact of the attack on the facility.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated, “Russian logistics are acutely feeling the consequences of the war that the Russian Federation has brought to Ukraine.” Since July 18, the Ukrainian defense forces have targeted several Wildberries warehouses, specifically in the Moscow, Tambov, and Ryazan regions, as well as in Krasnodar and Stavropol, Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Yekaterinburg, Penza region, and Udmurtia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky referred to the strikes on Wildberries warehouses as a response to Russian attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure. According to Zelensky, these facilities provided supplies of components under sanctions that were used in the production of drones and navigation equipment.
