“Armenia Should Have Multiple Partners” – Narek Karapetyan on EU Relations
The head of the "Strong Armenia" faction, Narek Karapetyan, addressed journalists regarding the ongoing work of the Permanent Committee on European Integration and the necessity of diversifying Armenia's foreign relations. He stated that the committee has hardly operated so far and emphasized their goal to ensure real diversification.
“We will bring real diversification. We will also show the people that we oppose engaging with only one side. Armenia should have multiple partners,” said Karapetyan.
He mentioned that a candidate for the presidency of the Permanent Committee on European Integration will be presented tomorrow. According to Karapetyan, the development of relations with Europe should not only exist at the level of naming or branding but should also yield tangible results, including improvements in the judicial system and trade relations.
