Member of 'Strong Armenia' Sues Armavir Regional State College

The former organizational and educational facilitator of the Armavir Regional State College and a candidate for the National Assembly from the 'Strong Armenia' party, Hayastan Hakobyan, has filed a lawsuit against the Armavir Regional State College.

According to AURORANEWS, which obtained information from the 'Datalex' judicial information system, the court has rejected Hakobyan's application against the Armavir Regional State College.

Hakobyan approached the court on July 10, 2026, seeking to annul the order terminating his employment, to be reinstated in his previous position, or, if reinstatement is not possible, to be provided with equivalent employment. He also demanded that his employer compensate for the average salary for the entire period of enforced idleness.

The court's decision indicated discrepancies in the list of documents attached to the application and those actually attached. Specifically, the claimant stated that he had submitted copies of employment contracts, whereas only the employment contract signed on November 9, 2023, was attached.

Additionally, a copy of the report dated June 22, 2026, was mentioned as a document attached to the application, while according to the judicial act, a report dated July 22 had been appended. An explanation from June 26 was also provided.

The court found that the application did not meet the requirements set forth in the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia regarding the content of the application and decided to return the application to the claimant. At the same time, the court granted Hayastan Hakobyan a three-day period from the time of receipt of the decision to address the noted deficiencies. Should the deficiencies be corrected and the application resubmitted within that timeframe, it will be considered as initially presented to the court with the date of July 10.
