Foreign Ministry Proposes Meeting with Ruben Vardanyan's Wife; Dates Being Coordinated

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has conveyed a proposal for a meeting with Veronica Zonabend, the wife of Ruben Vardanyan, who has been detained in an Azerbaijani prison, spokesperson Ani Badalyan told Azatutyun.

Earlier today, Vardanyan's wife stated that no one from the government had contacted her despite the announcement made. The Foreign Ministry clarified to Azatutyun that the proposal for the meeting with Vardanyan’s wife had already been discussed prior to her announcement, and was effectively communicated after her statement.
