«Strong Armenia» Has Not Yet Revealed Which Committees It Will Choose, Says Tigran Abrahamyan

«Strong Armenia» faction already has certain ideas about preferred committees, but for tactical reasons, it has not yet made them public.

This was stated on August 4 during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the «Strong Armenia» faction. According to him, the release of this information at the moment could affect the election process since the ruling party conducts the elections for the first two committees.

The deputy added that they will focus on committees that will allow for more effective parliamentary oversight.

It should be noted that according to the Don’t formula, some of the positions of committee chairpersons and deputy chairpersons in the National Assembly are allocated to opposition factions.
