High Fire Danger Expected in Yerevan and Several Regions

From August 4 to 9, a high level of fire danger is expected in the Ararat Plain and in Yerevan, Shirak, the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and in the valley regions of Syunik.

On the afternoon of August 4, and from August 5 to 9, dry weather is anticipated in Yerevan. In the evenings from August 4 to 9, wind intensification is expected at 12-15 m/s.

Throughout the country, dry weather is expected on the afternoon of August 4, and from August 5 to 8. On the evening of August 9, some regions may experience brief rain and thunderstorms. The wind will be from the southeast and east at 2-5 m/s.

In the Armavir region, in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in certain sections of Shirak, wind intensification at 15-18 m/s is expected in the evenings from August 4 to 9. The air temperature is not expected to change significantly.
