Four Arrested in Bribery Case Involving Eco-Inspection Officials

Earlier, Factor TV reported that the Anti-Corruption Committee entered the Eco-Inspection Service and arrested the head of the Sevan area, Poghos Martirosyan, senior shift supervisor Artush Hambardzumyan, and the commander of the water patrol unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, David Galoyan.

Auroranews.am contacted the Anti-Corruption Committee for further details regarding the incident. The agency responded: “In response, we confirm that four individuals have been arrested in connection with the criminal proceedings initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee regarding instances of bribery involving officials of the Eco-Inspection Service of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia. Due to the interests of the investigation, we cannot provide further details.”
