Russian Sanctioned Container Ship 'Yanina' Struck, Zelensky Reports
The Russian container ship 'Yanina', which is under sanctions, has been struck. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Medium-range strikes were carried out last night; strikes occurred in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. The sanctioned Russian container ship 'Yanina', which was sailing under the Russian flag and had a capacity of over 100,000 tons, was also hit. Thanks to the accuracy of our Defense Forces, it went to the bottom," Zelensky wrote.
Zelensky also noted that the Ukrainian army has hit three Russian oil refineries. "Last night, the Security Service divisions struck the infrastructure of three Russian oil refineries in Bashkortostan. The distance was almost 1,600 kilometers to the targets. These refineries process millions of tons of oil annually," Zelensky stated.
