Weather in Armenia: Where Rain, Thunderstorms, and Strong Winds Are Expected

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, dry weather is expected during the day on July 31 and on August 3-4. In the evening hours of August 1-2, brief rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in some regions. This information is provided by the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations' Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

It is noted that in the Armavir region, in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, as well as in certain areas of Shirak province, wind intensification is expected in the evening hours, reaching 15-18 m/s. Air temperatures are not expected to change significantly. In Yerevan, dry weather is also expected on July 31, August 1, and August 3-4.

In the evening hours of August 2, localized brief rainfall and thunderstorms may occur in some parts of the city. Wind intensification is expected at 14-17 m/s during the evening. In the capital today, daytime temperatures will reach 33-35 degrees, while evening temperatures will be recorded at +29...+31 degrees.
