Russia Launched Over 70 Missiles and 280 Drones Towards Ukraine Overnight: Zelensky

The President of Ukraine reported on his Telegram channel that this night, Russian forces targeted Kyiv, as well as the regions of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk. Dozens of residential homes, infrastructure facilities, and civilian enterprises were damaged and destroyed.

“During this assault, over 70 missiles were launched, the significant majority of which were ballistic missiles. In addition, more than 280 attack drones were deployed. Over 260 drones were successfully destroyed. Our air combat units managed to shoot down a significant number of cruise missiles, and mobile fire groups were also able to effectively counter cruise missiles,” noted Volodymyr Zelensky.

He emphasized the need for missiles for air defense systems.
