Rain, Thunderstorms, and Winds Expected Soon

In Yerevan city, on the evening of August 2, short-lived rain and thunderstorms are possible in specific areas of the city. From July 30-31, August 1, and August 3, dry weather is anticipated.

From July 29-31 and August 1-3, wind intensification of 14-17 m/s is expected during the evening hours.

Across the republic, brief rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the night and late evening of July 30, the night of July 31, and the evening of August 1-2 in certain regions. Dry weather is expected during the day on July 30 and 31, as well as on August 3.

The wind direction will be from the southeast and east at 2-5 m/s. Intense winds of 15-18 m/s are expected in the Armavir region, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in certain areas of Shirak during the evening hours of July 30-31 and August 1-3.

The air temperature will not change significantly.
