Problems of EAEU and Russian Market Are Not a Crisis, but an Opportunity: Prime Minister
On July 30, during a meeting of the Armenian government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the current situation related to the EAEU and the Russian market is perceived by many as a crisis, while he regards it as an opportunity.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need for cultivating high-value crops in normative agricultural areas. He also highlighted that the authorities regularly communicate signals to operators regarding the necessity of diversifying economic ties.
According to Pashinyan, the main reason for the lack of diversification is that "choosing the path of diversification means choosing the path of increasing efficiency, productivity, and standards."
