I Haven't Used Farmed Fish in a Long Time, Says Pashinyan

During a government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the need to diversify support programs for various sectors of the economy.

“Today, we say that we export fish to a country that controls half of the world's marine and oceanic water resources. What does this mean? No, I am not satisfied. Look at how much water we waste and how much fish we export,” said the head of the executive, adding that it is essential to adhere to standards.

“I won’t even mention the quality-related issues. Speaking from my personal experience—which might stir some emotions—I haven’t used farmed fish in a long time because it is obvious that there is a problem. Sometimes you handle fish and you see fat leaking out,” the Prime Minister stressed, adding that these are issues that need to be addressed. He asserted that food quality issues in Armenia require solutions.
