The Prosecutor General's Office Discovers Multiple Violations in the Privatization Process of Araratcement Company
The Prosecutor's Office, within the framework of protecting public (communal) interests, has examined the privatization process of the Araratcement company, which was sold off by the Government of the Republic of Armenia based on the decision No. 1465-A of September 12, 2002.
As a result of the examination, the Prosecutor has identified apparent signs of criminal activity and reported the crime to the Anti-Corruption Committee on May 5, 2026. A criminal proceeding has been initiated under Article 441, part 2, point 5 (2 episodes) and Article 296, part 3, point 3 of the Criminal Code.
