The Strait Will Reopen After the U.S. Departure, Trump
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen automatically right after military operations cease. According to him, this issue is not among his priorities.
Trump stated that his primary goal has been to ensure that the opposing side possesses no nuclear weapons. He emphasized that this objective has already been achieved and that the country will not have such weapons.
In his assessment, once the U.S. withdraws from the region, the operations of the strait will be restored without further intervention. He also stressed that he is not personally focusing on this issue.
It is noteworthy that Trump made this statement during an interview with the New York Post, addressing the regional situation and security concerns.
