Classes at American University to be Held Online Today Due to Security Concerns
The American University of Armenia has announced that classes will be conducted online today, March 30, due to security concerns.
“Please be informed that due to security considerations and in light of the threats issued by Iran regarding the targeting of American universities in Western Asia and the Middle East, all classes will be held in an online format on Monday, March 30. This is merely a precautionary measure. The university is closely monitoring the situation and will inform about any changes in the schedule or format of instruction.”
It is important to emphasize that no direct threats to our university have been recorded, and there are no grounds to believe that the university is in danger; therefore, there is no reason for panic. Members of the AUA community are kindly asked to regularly check their emails and rely solely on the university’s official communications for the latest updates,” the statement reads.
