Trump Reveals Who Initiated War Against Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the idea of military action against Iran was first brought up by Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth. According to Trump, it was Hegseth who suggested initiating such a step.
During a speech in Memphis, Trump noted that Hegseth had taken the initiative by calling for "action." He emphasized that this proposal sounded like a direct call for action.
Trump also addressed relations with Iran, stating that Tehran is still given the opportunity to cease threats against the U.S. and its allies. He expressed Washington's hope that Iran would take advantage of this opportunity.
