Medical Center Issues Statement Regarding Death of Expectant Mother

The Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center has issued a statement concerning the death of a 40-year-old expectant mother, urging media outlets to refrain from spreading misinformation.

According to the statement released by the medical center, the mother did not give birth at their facility; the delivery took place at another medical center. "Due to complications following the delivery, the expectant mother was transferred to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center in accordance with existing protocols. During the transfer, cardiac arrest was recorded. Resuscitation efforts were initiated and continued at Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, the life of the expectant mother could not be saved," the announcement stated.

It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that a 40-year-old expectant mother had died. According to clarifications provided by the ministry, there was a sudden worsening of the pregnant woman's condition during labor, leading to a loss of consciousness. An emergency cesarean section was performed, but her life could not be saved.
