Iran Wants to Strike a Deal: Trump
US President Donald Trump has announced that Iran wishes to reach an agreement; however, the proposed terms do not meet his approval. According to him, the conditions under discussion still do not align with the standards he deems acceptable.
The American leader emphasized that any potential agreement must be based on stronger and more reliable terms. His statement indicates that the issue at hand is not only about the willingness to negotiate but also about the content of the agreement itself.
Trump has essentially made it clear that without what he considers sufficient guarantees, no deal will be signed. Thus, he acknowledged that there is a desire on Iran's part to negotiate, but in his view, clearer and 'more reliable' conditions are necessary for a final agreement to be reached.
