Russia to Request Clarification from the US Regarding Venezuela's Oil Sanctions

Russia will utilize existing communication channels with the United States to seek clarification on the sanctions imposed on oil transactions with Venezuela. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, during a press briefing.

“This is a new decision. We will use the existing communication channels with the Americans to clarify the situation,” Peskov said.

“We have long-term investment projects in Venezuela, and our Venezuelan partners are also interested in this. All of this provides an opportunity to discuss the situation with the Americans,” he concluded.
