Netanyahu Signs Document Joining Gaza Peace Council
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, where he signed a document accepting his membership in the Gaza Peace Council, an initiative previously announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, according to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the Blair House in Washington. Before a meeting with President Trump at the White House, the Prime Minister signed the document accepting his membership in the Peace Council in the presence of Secretary Rubio," the press release stated.
On Tuesday, Netanyahu traveled to the United States for negotiations with President Donald Trump. Before leaving, the Prime Minister announced that he would present Israel's position on the principles for negotiations with Iran to Trump.
