Aliyev Discusses New Transportation Corridor

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has stated that the so-called 'Trump Route' could play a significant role in consolidating peace in the region. According to him, the initiative aims at the development of strategic infrastructure and long-term sustainability.

In Aliyev's words, the project will connect two parts of Azerbaijan by creating a large and secure transportation corridor. It is expected to serve as a route connecting Asia and Europe, passing through the territories of Azerbaijan and Armenia with the involvement of neighboring countries.

The president emphasized that the development of such transportation links could facilitate not only economic cooperation but also the formation of political trust in the region. He highlighted that these processes are viewed in the context of strengthening peace.

Aliyev noted that the implementation of the project could create new opportunities for regional cooperation by ensuring secure and stable communication among different countries.
