Peace Process and Humanitarian Agenda at the Center of Discussions
On February 3, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Michael O'Flaherty. The interlocutors addressed key directions within the framework of the Council of Europe, focusing on the continuous strengthening of the rule of law and cooperation in protecting human rights.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized Armenia's ongoing commitment to implementing an ambitious agenda for democratic reforms and the steps being taken in this regard. The discussion also touched upon programs aimed at addressing the needs of refugees displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
Mirzoyan and O'Flaherty exchanged views on regional issues, addressing efforts to further strengthen peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including humanitarian matters.
