Energy Crisis in Kyiv: 6000 Residential Buildings Left Without Heating
On the night of January 24, following a massive Russian attack and shelling that occurred on January 9 and 20, nearly 6000 residential buildings in Kyiv were left without heating due to damage to vital infrastructure. This was announced by Kyiv's Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The mayor reported that widespread heating outages have once again taken place in the city. According to him, almost 6000 homes are without heating. Moreover, there have been water supply issues recorded on the left bank of the city and partially on the right bank as well.
City officials noted that utility services and energy companies are working to restore heating and water supplies for Kyiv residents.
