Another 13 Accused in Vagharsapat Election Case
In the Vagharsapat community, regarding the bribery cases related to the municipal elections on November 16, 2025, where members of the "Homeland" party allegedly offered bribes for votes, the Anti-Corruption Committee has initiated public criminal prosecution against an additional 13 individuals as part of a criminal case initiated in December 2025.
This was reported in response to a query from "Haykakan Zhamanak" by the Anti-Corruption Committee, which stated that the accused are charged with receiving bribes in exchange for voting for the "Homeland" party during the municipal elections, as well as assisting a group of individuals in providing bribes in collusion.
It has been reported that a total of 23 individuals are currently involved as accused in the ongoing preliminary inquiry of this criminal case.
