We Do Not Accept Dictates: Iranian Foreign Minister
We are ready for a fair and balanced agreement achieved through negotiations, but we are not prepared to accept dictates. If someone approaches us with an idea for a mutually beneficial solution, we will discuss it, stated Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, as reported by the IRNA news agency.
Araqchi noted that the experience of 2025 was full of disappointments. He stated that Iran's efforts to find a compromise regarding the mechanism for restoring sanctions within the framework of the UN General Assembly were rejected by the West. “We presented good ideas, but they were all rejected. We have come to the conclusion that enough is enough,” added the foreign minister.
Commenting on threats and attacks on the country’s nuclear infrastructure, Araqchi acknowledged the damage but insisted that it is impossible to destroy the country’s intellectual potential. He emphasized that Iran intends to maintain its right to enrich uranium, which has been developed through the efforts of its scientists.
