Russia Provides Political Support to Venezuela

Russia is providing necessary political support to Venezuela and believes that a logical solution can be found for the situation created in the southern Caribbean. This was stated by Alexander Shchetinin, head of the Latin America Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, to journalists.

“We are undoubtedly providing the necessary political support to the fraternal Venezuelan people during this difficult phase. We believe that common sense must prevail, and a logical, correct solution will be found for the situation that has currently developed in the southern part of the Caribbean,” he said.
