Iran and Azerbaijan have Certain Disagreements, Says Araqchi
Azerbaijan and Iran share common interests and certain disagreements, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced at a joint press conference in Baku with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
"Today's discussions covered political, economic, cultural, and other areas of cooperation. I also met with President Ilham Aliyev, during which all key issues were discussed. Our countries have numerous common interests. There are also certain disagreements, but we have chosen the path of dialogue as a priority in all our relations," Araqchi stated.
He recalled Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's visits to Azerbaijan this year, saying, "We are also eagerly awaiting Ilham Aliyev's visit to Iran."
